Scott Walker Just Kills Wisconsin's Reputation When...

He appears, as he just did on NBC, and refers to the "Democrat" Party. #willfulignorance.

I have never understood the reluctance to say "democratic"? Is the word too long for lazy people to pronounce or is there a political reason? In my opinion, it just sounds silly!

look it up online.this goes back to the 40's and George W was an expert at using that phrase. It's to associate Democrats with "rats", but it shows those who use that phrase to be ignorant a-holes. I tune out anyone who says Democrat party

I don't think they realize they are grammatically wrong. They think it sounds ok because they don't say it much. In a GOP bubble.

This is willful, but it's not ignorance or laziness. They know exactly what they're doing. "Democrat Party" focus-groups worse than "Democratic Party" and at some point during GWB's time in office, the memo went out to all GOPers to always say it that way. Rush Limbaugh and the Congressional party leadership started it (again?) and it's continued ever since. I imagine just about everyone on Fox News says it, too.
